The Blues Man – Hank Williams

I was a huge fan of Bocephus during my formative years, so it was thrill watching him tear up the stage, and play every instrument. The Blues Man was always my favorite song of his.  I felt like Hank’s story is bigger than his live shows, so I included some photos from his exhibition at the Country Music Hall of Fame. Including a copy of Hank’s handwritten lyrics to All My Rowdy Friends Are Coming Over Tonight, which is the precursor to the Monday Night Football theme. The 1959 Goldtop Les Paul that Dickie Bettes gave to him, which can be seen in the background of the photo of Hank seated to the right of the guitar.  Hank is the embodiment of country music, but he is also an American icon.
